Depression is one of the most common\nmental disorders in modern society and significantly\naffects the psychological, physical, and social\nfunctioning of affected individuals. <br> <br>\nThe aim of this\nstudy was to present a patient with depressive\ndisorder through the nursing process, with special\nemphasis on the identification of nursing diagnoses,\nplanning and implementation of interventions, and\nevaluation of achieved outcomes. A case of a 32-\nyear-old male patient hospitalized in a psychiatric\nward due to symptoms of depression and anxiety is\npresented, including apathy, insomnia, loss of\nappetite, and impaired daily functioning.
