It is an open access journal with a double-blind peer review process, published twice a year, in June and December.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        It is designed to provide high-quality and up-to-date information in the field of nursing within healthcare, nursing care, and nursing education, as well as information relevant to theory, practice, and science.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The journal primarily addresses health sciences particularly nursing but also other related fields.\nNursing intersects with boundary disciplines, overlaps with them, and draws on their knowledge\nfor its development. In practice, healthcare professionals collaborate through teamwork,\ninterdisciplinary, or multisectoral approaches, reflecting the complexity and importance of\nnursing care.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        Nursing care takes place within the field of health care and medical practice; therefore, its\nconnections are most evident with medicine, pedagogy, and psychology, as well as with other\nbranches of medical practice, pediatrics, oncology, gynecology and obstetrics, infectious\ndiseases, psychiatry, hygiene, internal medicine, and others.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The purpose of nursing research is to add new knowledge to the existing body of knowledge\navailable to the nursing profession. Knowledge generated through research may have practical\nimplications. Nursing research aims not only to develop professional practice but also to advance\nnursing as a science, upon which nursing practice is increasingly based.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The purpose of nursing research is to add new knowledge to the existing body of knowledge\navailable to the nursing profession.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The journal publishes papers covering various fields, including management and leadership,\ncommunication skills, mental health, adult nursing care, geriatrics and gerontology, psychiatric\nnursing, infectious diseases nursing, surgical nursing, intensive care, midwifery\/obstetric\nnursing, health informatics, public health, research methodology, spiritual care, and many other\ncategories.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The journal accepts manuscripts from a broad but well-defined range of health disciplines and\ninterdisciplinary fields, making it both a professional and informative publication.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        We\nparticularly encourage manuscripts addressing global or regional health challenges, comparative\nstudies, or interdisciplinary topics that connect health sciences with social, behavioral, and\npsychological sciences.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        Manuscripts may be submitted in the following categories: original scientific articles, meta-\nanalyses, review articles, professional papers, systematic reviews, case reports, research notes,\ndiscussions, conference presentations, book reviews, professional news, letters to the editor,\nvarious communications, event announcements, project presentations, memorial notes, news and\nletters from the field of nursing, and reports on educational and professional practice.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The mission of the journal is to advance global knowledge in health and related sciences by\nproviding a platform for methodologically high-quality research, reviews, and professional\nreports based on evidence.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The journal also aims to support early-career researchers and authors\n(including students) in disseminating their work, thereby contributing to the promotion of health,\neducation, and interdisciplinary research worldwide.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The category of the paper is suggested by the reviewers, while the final decision is made by the\nEditorial Board following an anonymous double-blind peer-review process.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The journal\npublishes papers written in Serbian and English. Opinions and statements published in the\narticles of this journal are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of\nthe Editorial Office.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        Decisions regarding journal policy and responsibility levels are made by the Publishing Board\nand the Editorial Council of the journal.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The Publishing Board is a body with a strategic and\nmanagerial role in the journal. It makes key decisions on journal policy and determines the goals\nand direction of journal development, publishing policy, oversees finances and sustainability,\ncollaborates with institutions and publishers, appoints the Editor-in-Chief or confirms their\nselection, and performs primarily administrative and organizational functions.\n      <\/p>\n\n      <p>\n        The Editorial Council is a professional body responsible for the scientific and content quality of\nthe journal.
